Welcome to the website of the Spiritual Exercises Network!

St. Ignatius

Here you will find information about ourselves and our activities.

First, a note about who we are and what we are doing.

The network exists to support the ministry of those who are giving the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in retreat, in daily life, in full, or in any adapted form.  It grew out of a Conference at Ascot in 1994 led by John English SJ of Guelph, Canada, and is promoted by the religious congregations which share an Ignatian spirituality.

Subsequent conferences have been held in 1997,  2001, 2004 and 2007.   Each conference elects a committee to develop the vision of 'releasing the power of the Exercises',  and the Network issues at least two newsletters a year which seeks to enable members to continue to share in this vision.
